Wallpaper on a Mac ?

Hi all,
Would anyone know about how to set up the background wallpaper on a Mac ?
There is some working code for the PC that can be found on that forum, but I have no clue at all about where to start searching for the Mac, it's a whole different world to me.

You could run a AppleScript from your app:

set desktop picture to file (path to desktop pictures folder)

Not tested, just search the web for "changing wallapaper on mac by script"
