| Hi. I'm just wondering if there is any features in Blitz Plus/ Blitz 2d that is NOT in Blitz 3d ie Is Blitz 3d a complete superset of BlitzPlus /Blitz 2d? I'm inquiring b/c i've recently purchased Blitz 3d and would like to know if there is any (good) reason to purchase Blitz Plus/Blitz 2d. Any constructive feedback would be appreciated. | Blitz3D is a superset of BlitzBasic (Blitz2D). BlitzPlus is a superset of BlitzBasic (Blitz3D). There are some items that are mutually exclusive between Blitz3D and BlitzPlus, for instance, GUI & event-based model, and 3D Blitz commands. Search the forum and FAQ for other information -- this is a very common question. |

| Blitz 3D includes all Blitz2D commands so it would be foolish to buy that. Blitz+ features GUI & event driven interface, but no 3D so its more an upgraded B2D. Bliz 2D is also no longer produced by Blitz Research. |

| In any case, Blitz2D is not supported any longer, Blitz+ is the supported 2D app. The "important notice" at the front of this site will give you some insight into this situation. so your choice is maybe: Blitz3D or Blitz3D/Blitz+ cheers |
