Hi. I'm just wondering if there is any features in Blitz Plus/ Blitz 2d that is NOT in Blitz 3d ie Is Blitz 3d a complete superset of BlitzPlus /Blitz 2d? I'm inquiring b/c i've recently purchased Blitz 3d and would like to know if there is any (good) reason to purchase Blitz Plus/Blitz 2d.

Any constructive feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Blitz3D is a superset of BlitzBasic (Blitz2D).
BlitzPlus is a superset of BlitzBasic (Blitz3D).

There are some items that are mutually exclusive between Blitz3D and BlitzPlus, for instance, GUI & event-based model, and 3D Blitz commands.

Search the forum and FAQ for other information -- this is a very common question.

Blitz 3D includes all Blitz2D commands so it would be foolish to buy that. Blitz+ features GUI & event driven interface, but no 3D so its more an upgraded B2D. Bliz 2D is also no longer produced by Blitz Research.

In any case, Blitz2D is not supported any longer, Blitz+ is the supported 2D app.

The "important notice" at the front of this site will give you some insight into this situation.

so your choice is maybe: Blitz3D or Blitz3D/Blitz+
