I've just bought Blitz3D. I am a Blitz2D (the old one, not the Plus or Max) owner for 5 years now.
I've got a coloring book what I wrote for my children a year or so ago. It's floodfill routine is not the best, I might admit but it was always convenient.
To cut it short, when I've loaded the source into Blitz3D and run it it was 400% FASTER then in Blitz2D!!!! While the biggest area on the test image was around 200 000 pixels (with quite a zigzagging surrounding black line), it's been flooded with the old program for 6.5 seconds.
In Blitz3D it was 1.7 seconds!!!
How can it be??? Is Blitz3D this faster? Is it fully compatible (above) from Blitz2D???? (I hope so).
Anyway, I was a bit upset when ShareIt! put a 25% VAT on the $100 (so it became $125) but now I am glad that I bought it!
