What's the best way to make sound effects for Blitz Basic projects? Does anyone recommend a sound effects editor?

Also see Brucey's bfxr module-- you could do all your effects realtime or have a blend of canned bfxr sounds played from sound files and realtime synthesized sounds.

For an editor get Audacity, it's the best thing available for free.
