Hi All, Just bought Blitzmax after using the demo for a week or so. VERY impressed! I say I'm new but I did...a long long time ago own BlitzBasic when it very first came out on the Amiga (I had Amos before that). It is SO nice to see that after all these years, Blitz is still going, and by the look of the forum, still going very strong! I'll take this opportunity to add my vote for an iphone 'thing' that would allow iphone app creation. That would be awesome! |

Welcome! You'll find that quite a few regulars on this forum had their roots on the Amiga, using either Blitz or AMOS (or both...) |

You'll find that quite a few regulars on this forum had their roots on the Amiga, using either Blitz or AMOS (or both...) Mostly AMOSPro, for me. 1994 to 1998-ish. (I still have my Blitz Basic II manual) Do you have the good one, or the one that all the pages fell out of?I got a crap one at first, but at the time I lived just down the road from Guildhall Leisure, so I went down and they swapped it for me. :D |

Yes, the days of Amos and the very first BlitzBasic were golden! |

Do you have the good one, or the one that all the pages fell out of? That's a good question :-) I have one ring-bound... from which all the pages tend to fall out. The other, is a bigger, proper book, which is of very good quality. But off the top of my head, I can't remember which one is which. (blitzbasic I or II) |
