Could Maximus http://maximus.htbaa.com be added as well? It's a module manager for BlitzMax. With it you can install 3rd party modules that are hosted on the Maximus website, which provides over 500 different modules already. Comes with both a CLI and GUI interface. Last edited 2011 |

List updated. Assari made a .chm file of the docs but it was nothing extra, only if you like that format. There are a few user additions to the Bmx wiki HERE like in Language/Arrays. I edited that site but I want to improve it soon to add some good 3rd party docs but it's basically just an online copy of the docs. The Bmx manual is pretty nice, it got quite a few user comments and code. Other than that it's just the tutorials forum. |

Hi Munch. I was trying out the Vector Fonts as this was something I had planned to write for later. They are not as smooth as Truetype - or am I missing something ?![]() Notice the descenders, they are really ragged. Is there a way - some code - to fix this ? |

Well, I found the simplest way is just to use "SetGraphicsDriver GLMax2DDriver()" in ITS example VectorFontPreview, I'm not sure but it seems to anti-alias x2 by default. For DX it seems anti-alias wasn't supported until d3d9. I'm not so familiar with DX so not sure how to fix it. Maybe you should start a thread for this. |

Hi Munch. Near as I can tell it just needs better coding. Notice how the same letter is drawn differently, lowercase "i" in "This" and lowercase "i" in "is." The top dot is definitely not a circle, but it should be the same for the same letter - and for some reason it is not. Something screwy there ! :/ |
