| Does anyone know how to make it so a certain file format gets a preview in Windows Explorer? It would be nice if I could add this for my 3D files. |

| Under Vista and windows 7, you can register a 'thumbnail handler' that allows you to render your own icons based on file contents. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc144146(VS.85).aspx I don't know if there is a way you can do this under anything below Vista, though. |
