Wondering if anyone has any info regarding submitting bmax applications to the Mac App Store? Are there any bundling problems, libs that need including, other complications etc.? Documentation on the specific technical requirements seems to be on a need to know basis and apparently I don't need to know yet...

Perfect! I thought I saw something on this earlier but couldn't locate it. Much appreciated.

I'm currently waiting on my first one to get through. Been just over a week.

Best of luck! Glad to know it can at least get into the system :0)

I've got my submission in. I punched up a tutorial to hopefully help anyone else trying to muddle through. It's not too hard, but if you're unfamiliar with apple's systems and dev utilities it can be a bit daunting.

have a look at http://www.blitzbasic.com/Community/posts.php?topic=93636

Nice job on the tutorial. Looks very good. The point about not having SPACES in your name is very important. That one bit me at first.

Yea, apple is really weird about that stuff... my assumption is they only allow alpha numeric so they don't have to test out their back end systems with anything that might get parsed strange going through a web server (space -> %20 -> back to space) etc. No technical reason why it couldn't work, just a lot more work on their end. They know they're dealing with developers, no joe idiot user, at this level so they just make it how they want and devs have to get on board or GTFO... par for the course when piping through apple, and really not much hassle once one accepts that it's their system not yours :0)

Whenever your submission is accepted you should edit your tutorial to point that out :)
I'm sure I'll use your guide someday, so thanks for making it.
