puki - terrain stuff for you? Must be my evil twin then :P This is the "original" code, kind of. This method is using a "towel" that is object oriented. So every character would need it's towel. I have published an other terrain shadow code, some week ago that is camera oriented. It doesn't care how much entities are on the map, it simply casts shadows for a towel that is always just in front of the camera. See here: http://www.blitzbasic.com/codearcs/codearcs.php?code=1462 |
