| Is there any modelling software that specifically deals with track creation, or allow you to create track scenes easily. I hate using terrains beause the textures are stretched, and just ugly. I dont have 3dstudio, nor can I afford to get it. any other software packages out there that can make this job a little easier? |

| Just about any modeling tool with splines works well for creating race tracks. I recall a free race track creator, but I'm not sure how applicable it is to general use since it was created for a specific game (a Blitz game, but still a specific game.) I'll see if I can find that link. |
