uv-map procedural texture

Hi,

I'm currently looking for a tool that converts a procedural texture to a uvmapped bitmap texture.
For example: we have a marble statue with a procedural texture, which looks very nice. It's a hell to uvmap a bitmap without nasty seams.

Thanks in advance.

It's pretty hard I think, have you tried using spherical or cylindrical mapping? That way you won't get seems, and with some tweaking it might look just right.

What is the procedural texture made in?

At the moment, gameSpace. But i really don't care what format the tool uses because we'll need a marble textures which is pretty commonplace.

gameSpace couldn't bake the textures. Too much faces.

Most of the "big boys" like Maya or 3D Studio Max can bake procedural textures. I don't know of any lower cost tools which can however.
