Hello I am very interested in a innovative Silo feature : Topology Brush I want to modify clothes, shoes and hair of 3d models. Does it really work ? Thanks in advance |

It depends what you want it to do? What do you meen by modifying clothes? |

for example to get an ancient tunica from a modern skirt I quote from Silo web site : "... allows you to create clothes or hair or other shapes that closely conform to underlying models." in my opinion it is an interesting feature for hobbyest game developers. You can start from a limited number of 3d models and to create a lot of 3d characters Also none of the most important modelling packages offer such feature, as far as I know. Some time ago I purchased a 3d human model. Some month later I asked to modify some details of the clothes. I was replied that it is an hard job to carry out any modification on existing models, Better to start from the scratch |

you should try out the demo really to see if its what you were expecting. All it does is create new geometry from the topology lines you draw on the mesh. Look in the video tutorials on the nevercenter website to get a feel of it. |

I managed to use the topology brush with a little practise but never produced a predictable shape. It is usefull for putting clothes on characters I beleive. Nice program Silo. |
