Free Alternative to Corel Painter?

Hi, I had been using a trial version of Corel Painter 10 and was wondering if there is something at all similar to use freely for commercial purposes? I tried GIMP, Is there anything else? Thanks Everyone!

What is the main difference between Paint.Net and GIMP? They both seem to be packed with similar features. I think i'll use Paint.Net for a while. Thanks Adam :) Last edited 2012
