| When I click deleted all my pay pal account then they kind of thread me like you will pay bill after it. WTF Reminder: Patreon uses PayPal for payments processing and sensitive information like credit card numbers are never stored on our servers. Read more here. Are you sure you want to delete PayPal? Yes because Mark have achived his goals didn't he? :) All I want to do is closed the account ! |

| Yes because Mark have achived his goals didn't he? :) The thing with goals on Patreon is it needs to be sustained ( but still depends on the author) Not sure why they are charging you if you delete your account, sounds kinda weird. |

You essentially signed up for a recurring donation subscription, and you didn't actually unsubscribe/cancel it. Think about it this way: Just because you no longer need the newspaper/TV cable/Internet Services/whatever, doesn't mean that you no longer have to pay them if you don't actually cancel but just let your creditcard on file expire. You made a commitment, and by signing up you agree to their terms and conditions which include the terms for canceling an account. If you don't actively cancel, you still owe the money. |

| Excluding the 'leak' problems, I decided to drop Patreon only for a fiscal reason: if I would donate 10 euro to Mark, I will be charged by 12,20 on my credit card... for some international law I *must* pay VAT on the sum I would 'donate' via Patreon service (I don't buy a service or a product... but some great minds don't bother about this). 'Losing' 22% of my 'donations' is too much! So, thanks God there's PayPal donate: I'm not a 'fully supporter', not even a 'great financier', but when I have some moneys I'm more than happy to 'donate' it to BRL/Mark (both for BlitzMax I still use daily, both for Monkey2) (no tax in this case!) |
