In screen with "Space Junk" with the "Space Filter" running, on one of the screens anyway. Guess which one. Ignore the FPS, it runs at 400+ with VSync off ![]() ![]() |

I really love the authentic looking arcade screen. Especially the phosphor burn effect :) Your previous asteroids game is tops! |

Thanks jb, we had to take Asteroids down for a while until the licence issue get's sorted. In the meantime we thought hey - what the heck lets do our own thing in the Retro-Style of 1979. Whilist using a bit of artistic licence of course. |

That's wicked. What's the story with this game? Demo soon? |

@Mearrin69, yeah real soon. I'm just implementing those things that will hopefully make it a great game as oppose to a great looking game. Follow the Blog at www.indiepath.com for upto date(ish) information. |

Looks great. I really want to try your asteroids as well. *hint hint* |

I'd read "electro magnetic pube" and .. well.. that hurt my brain. Anyhow, cool stuff. |

I've noticed that on games such as FFVIII (PSX), FFIX(PSX) and FFX (PS2) also GTASanAndreas(PS2) there is a visual effect (used during some 'summons' on the FF games) which adds a kind of motion-blur to the images. This motion-blur also affects some of the HUD sprites which really adds to the overall effect. I think you may have just shown how that's possible in Blitz :) |

Thanks Malice, and it's soo simple to do. |
