This is just a little demo i put together for my kids. They absolutely love Dinosaurs and I thought controlling one would be fun. (They seem to like it.) Hit Space for the Dino roar :) http://www.bmaxbook.com/ ![]() I am getting better but I need to work on skinning and deformations as well as UVmapping (UVmapping is a pain!) AS usual- the models and art are free/open to a good home. Although I borrowed the dino-roar from a rather well known dino movie... |

Unfortunately I had my speakers cranked when I hit the spacebar...kids don't try this at home. Pretty cool man. Nice to see bmax doing some 3d stuff. |

I am using an Older Version of 3DS Max (5). I export to Unwrap using the Unwrap3D 3DS exporter and from there export to .B3D (that is for both the animated T-Rex and the 'level') for the level There are 2 surfaces. Both surfaces are set up in Unwrap3D as composite textures with the tree surface Composite: UVset 1: bark.jpg UVset2: lightmap.jpg and the ground surface Composite: UVset 1: ground.jpg UVset2: lightmap.jpg the T-Rex bones are a Character Studio Biped. |
