| I was messing around with the 3ds max 8 raytracer, thought I'd post some pics. these 3 are 675 spheres all raytraced to eachother, the enviroment color changes, take note on how the color can affect the mood of the picture   side-by-side  this one is kinda bad, but it looks OK.  this one's the best...in my opinion.  added another one: this is an indoor pool with caustics casting on the walls (did this a week after the other ones)  --------------------------------------------------- thanks for looking! |

| Quite cool! I've always liked rendered images with distortions and the like, though. Ever try Modo's renderer? It's beautiful, in the right hands (although I suppose this applies to any renderer). |

| Thanks.  Afraid I've never heard of Modo's renderer...and unless it's free, I don't see myself using it. |

| this is the default render in c4d r10  ive just got maxwell render 1.5, looks great so far when ive got the hang of is ill post some demos, its a plugin for most of the big 3d programs |
