Hey. I have this explosion sprite that I photoshop'ed just now. If you like it you can have it.

Most likely the firewall just flags the hosting domain (tinypic.com) altogether because it also hosts some less suitable images.

I would use ImageShack or PhotoBucket but they are too slow.

Um... 'Distort > Glass' and 'Blur > Radial Blur (Zoom)'

Ked: Color dodge and radial blur do not create explosions. If you really want to make one look good, find out what a real explosion looks like. As-is, these look nothing like explosions; the first, at best, looks like the flash from a gun-barrel (stretching it) and the second looks closest to sparks, but that's also stretching it.

Again, look at real explosions.

Color dodge and radial blur do not create explosions. If you really want to make one look good, find out what a real explosion looks like. As-is, these look nothing like explosions; the first, at best, looks like the flash from a gun-barrel (stretching it) and the second looks closest to sparks, but that's also stretching it.

Again, look at real explosions.
