I enjoy creating wallpapers and abstract poster art using my favorite fractal software. I was fiddling about a few days ago and as I was shaping the work, I saw something starting to emerge. I eventually ended up with this, which I think is one of the most awesome and spooky fractals I've ever produced.

Does everyone else see it, or is it just me?

Nice :D

Unfortunately, the only use I can think of for it is as a wallpaper. This may be the pinnacle of my fractal art career. I am going to have a hard time topping that thing.

No matter how much I look at it, it just keeps looking awesome. Yeah, I need to re-render the demon at wallpaper size.

Pretty cool, though some of the sharp cuts ruin it (especially the one on top right). Fix those and it's a real killer.

What software did you use?

I used Apophysis 2.09b to create that image. It's pretty much hopeless for me to try and fix the things you mentioned. Maybe if I were some kind of fractal super-genius that could see the fractal flames in my head in 360 degree 3D I would have a chance. As is, I would probably just ruin the overall effect.

yeah, pretty cool, lots to look at and not at the same time. Cool.
