Click here to Download! Just a small game i whipped up to help me with my diet. lol I was thinking about calling it the Attack of the Cheeseburgers but that sounds a tat hostile. EDIT: probably should have posted this under Blitz Showcase. Sorry! ^^ This game was written entirely in BlitzMax and the launcher in Blitz3D. :) The lag is because it is recording. Sorry for that! The game does have sound but I couldn't capture that. Last edited 2012 |

Well...what can I possibly say really. By the way why do you need a Blitz3D launcher? Surely you could have just used Blitzmax only. |

I like they way you ignore collisions and the sluggish framerate (pls state it is because of screenrecording) improves overall quality. I hope the picture you used is you and not from one of the movies about feeders ( (c) infringement...) bye Ron |

i like the idea of mixing things up. :D You need to lose that fetish of trying to use as many pieces of software as possible in order to do one task. The lag is because it is recording. Sorry for that! The game does have sound but I couldn't capture that. Your other movies had no lag and sound. Just use Fraps. Some interesting stuff there in your game. I'd have never thought of making a Leisure Suit Larry~esque command prompt line in Blitz3D in order to choose the difficulty setting before using Blitzmax. Why bother having a button or a single key when you can type in the entire word and then bring up a separate program. Nice bit of reinventing the wheel into a hexagon there. By the way, good luck with your diet. I hope your game helps. :) Last edited 2012 |

Although why did you write it in max with a launcher in b3d? I like to use the ExecFile command in Blitz3D. At the time I hadn't found the System_ command for BlitzMax. |
