| depends on what program you use. Generally box would do or (as you've said) non-uniform cube Usually you start with a cube/box and just scale it to your own requirements |

| Cuboid is the mathematically correct term (or geometrically...like the word "cube" or "hexahedron". But I can imagine Americans using "block" as a term for a non-uniform-cube. In German it is "Quader", maybe this helps to find "similar words" (while the cube is called "Kubus" or "Würfel"/"Wuerfel" which means the same as "dice"). bye Ron |

| @D4NM4N: yes, cuboids are just defined by the amount of faces. The special variant is the rectangular cuboid (like a "die" scaled on one axis, 90° angles etc.). @GfK: Thanks for your kind learning lessons. Maybe I've misinterpreted something within my brain... in German the word for die/dice is the same and only defined by the article (sing.: "der Wuerfel", plur: "die Wuerfel"). Never used "die" in that context before. bye Ron |
