I'm likely using the wrong term for this, but i'm looking for a simple way to create a map with the old scroll-style to it. for exmaple: ![]() Is there a program to create such styles for maps, or is there just some kind of technique used in photoshop? |

Ask D4NM4N... he made an incredible map like this, its somewhere in the Graphics Showcase. If I find a link I'll post. EDIT: http://www.blitzbasic.com/Community/posts.php?topic=79680#934971 |

There used to be software around like "Campaign Cartographer", but I dunno how up to date that is now. For photoshop you can find tutorials [a=http://lenseschoice.blogspot.com/2007/10/photoshop-tutorial-ancient-map.html]HERE.[/a] |

Campaign Cartographer sounds ideal. http://www.profantasy.com/products/cc3.asp They also seem to have this pack of elements, which would be very handy. http://www.profantasy.com/products/ss1.asp From what I can see, CC is £30 UK and the SS1 elements are £15, which is actually pretty reasonable for something so specialized. I might even treat myself, it looks like fun! |

FWIW, you can sometimes find some good sales/bundles of Campaign Cartographer on the major RPG retailers like RPGNow, etc. |
