Hi,

I was just wondering what actually controls the "FPS" in the computer. I've gotton a couple of machines, one with Intel Core i5 and Intel HD Graphics @ 2.30GHz and the other with a AMD Radeon HD 6770M and Intel Core i7 @ 2.8GHz. I had been running Medal of Honor Airborne on the i5 and get lag, Should the i7 be any faster with the Radeon?

Thank You!

It's a combination of all factors. However, since both of those components are better than the other computer, it seems like a safe bet that it will perform better.

Of the two though, in modern games the graphics card is far and away the most important factor.

And when it comes to graphics cards, there are *massive* differences -- a high-end card can have literally thousands of times the horsepower that a low-end integrated graphics chip does... And price/performance doesn't scale linearly, a graphics cards that's twice the price can be dozens of times faster.
