| the Guy was saying usualy Retro cd/dvd drives need 12v and 5v which is usualy conected my a moulex connector, now the transformer that supplies these voltages may well take a kettel lead It is for my Old Computer :) So to my questions is how many Amps does it need? would 5 amps or 13 Amps would be fine? |

| If you're talking about the fuse in the power cable, you want a 5A fuse. If you put a 13A fuse in, and there's a circuit fault, it will fry everything inside before the fuse blows. |
