Monkey2 seems it is part C++ and JavaScript. Looks like it will use Emscripten.I might aswell carry on using JavaScript and not bother with the VM. C++ speak's for itself.

A good thing I heard was that the old Monkey 1 code wil mostly still work on mx2.

Looks ok. there's also a mention about the Custom 3d module which got my interest. I think it is still a long way to go.
