| I think at this point it's a little too early as this also would mean splitting the forum to three ones or having to use three different ones. Anyway i'm on IRC again. |

| Right taumel. It's a first draft. As I said I will put some content on it over time. I agree that splitting is never a good idea but I see benefits as well as there is not german monkey community yet (well how could it? *g*) and you have to buy the product to be able to post in the official forums plus there isn't a monkey forum within this site... |

| Ich hatte gar nicht bemerkt, daß man monkey erst kaufen muß, um dort auch Posten zu können. Ich finde aber alleine schon die Aufteileung auf zwei Foren ungücklich. Da die bisherige Community eigentlich hier ist, hätte ich auch hier das Produkt wie auch die Foren erwartet. Die neue Seite sieht nett aus, aber ohne Fleisch, vielleicht kommt das ja noch, ist's halb so effektiv - vielleicht beeinflussen mich da auch dunkle Erinnerungen bezüglich max3D/Googlecode. Ich find's gut auch ab und wann auf Deutsch zu kommunizieren. Ich würde dies aber lieber auf dem gleichen Forum tun. Last edited 2011 |

| Es gibt ja schon ein deutsches Blitzforum. In diesem Forum wird es wohl nie eine monkey-Sparte geben - und das macht durchaus auch Sinn. Hier kannst und sollst Du nicht deutsch kommunizieren, das ist einfach unfair gegenüber der wesentlich größeren englischsprachigen Community. Außerdem würde ein Wust an weiteren Subforen entstehen... |

| Ich sehe das ein wenig entspannter; man praktiziert dies ja nicht die ganze Zeit. Mich gruselt's nur davor zwischen IRC und mehreren Seiten hin- und herzuhopsen, da dies ja auch alles Zeit und Übersicht kostet. Ich hoffe ich habe Dir Deine Idee nun aber nicht madig gemacht. |

| Hast Du nicht. Ich ziehe das durch. Ich sehe das ja ähnlich. Vor allem, wenn es (wie bis jetzt) noch keinen echten Mehrwert gibt. Den wird es aber im Laufe der Zeit geben, da ich auch einiges an Tutorials usw. plane. |

| well i agree with taumel , also i cant understand why the german forum cant support monkey as a subforum , and why bb.com have no monkey subforum . this will remember me for blitzcoder.com a fantastic forum with tons of codes and ideas but dead now ! gtx |

Regarding IRC I think it's great for a quick help but after all a forum is better because many information are just lost there and you can miss a lot of good stuff if you're offline. So as there is this official bb.com forum, there is the unofficial german forum as well. And now we have the official monkey forum and my unofficial german forum. Quite straight forward. :) I started to post some basic tutorials and think about to write some bigger ones about Monkey itself. I will post my progress about the Box2D port there as well. ;) |
