| Hello Ive been doing some re-work on the way BlitzLockIT generates serial numbers. Name: ???? Serial: 4248-AB-2719-8151-AA anyone like to attempt to covert the serial number back to the registration name. theres a example available here. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/pamela.poole/serialgen.zip thanks to anyone that trys to break this. kev |
 | ||
| that isn't really the way people usually break keygens, though, is it? I mean, you often can't convert the numbers back into the names, for starters. |
 | ||
| Is the Key PC dependant? |
 | ||
| @Anthony. use any way possable. im wanting to see the strength of the encryption. @darklordz. no its not PC dependant. kev |
 | ||
| @Kev, If the serial is not pc dependant all it would take is one malicious client to spread your serial.... |
 | ||
| yep there is that problem, although i will tackle the problem of making it PC dependant. one added benifit is that BlitzLockIT contains a database of hacked/spread serial numbers. so these can be checked against the user/serial that has been entered. |
 | ||
| How will you update this database, client can shoose not to update the program |
 | ||
| the serial database is intergrated into un-registerd compiled .exe, the database will be updated using BlitzLockIT Serial Administration Center. i now this does not offer a complete security solution. but it will offer some security. |
 | ||
| do you mean that this exe will connect thru internet connection to the admin center and get the new data? That could work. |
 | ||
| For a fair chance (and what crackers usually have access to) publish a few names and related serials followed by a name for which a serial needs to be generated by a keygen. |
 | ||
| @gema yes. @Imphenzia, the above download link is the serial generator. its up there for people to generate more than just the above user/serial. |
 | ||
| I mean, you often can't convert the numbers back into the names, for starters. No, usually they're just hashes... Okay, I'll give it a shot. :o> |
 | ||
| let me now how you get on FlameDuck. |
 | ||
| If you reverse the 4th and 5th digit in a password you get the same serial. You could find your serial being rejected because of someone elses being passed around. Example: aaaba=1617-AA-3429-1333-DC aaaab=1617-AA-3429-1333-DC aaabaa=1614-AA-3833-1393-DI aaaaba=1614-AA-3833-1393-DI |
 | ||
| i was aware of this, and has now been fixed. same reg names from above. aaaba = 3240-EG-3016-0123-FA aaaab = 3624-GD-2616-7843-CC aaabaa = 3648-IE-3028-1804-EF aaaaba = 4032-AB-2628-9524-IE ive also done more work on the random serial generator kev |
