You know this gallery screenshot?
http://www.blitzbasic.com/gallery/view_pic.php?id=94&gallery=&page=7

this was my old project... some people asked me for source-code, but now i decided to publish it!

combobox is a bit unfinished, but it work... this GUI work on bb2d/bb3d. On bb+ not so perfect (keycodes changed in bb+ - and you must use LOAD(ANIM)IMAGE-commands with parameter 2 for faster graphics)

For BB2D/BB+ you must remove 3D-camera-object and modify few lines of code (removing camera-code).

This GUI is opensource - you can modify code - and you must publish your changes... you can also use this code in your commercial games/apps... you must display a link in game/app and in doku to my website http://www.miragex.de.vu (-edited-)

here are 300KB of GUI-codes
100KB sample-codes (15 files)
1 year of development

i publish this source and i hope this nice project do not die - i have no more time for this - and sorry i can't help you if you have dev-questions...

Thank you for this MrCredo. I always thought it was a very impressive-looking GUI. Nice work.

Thanks a lot for sharing. Let's see if I can redirect this to some quads textures and get a nice "looking glass" gui. Then I'll pursue Microsoft for using my ideas in Longhorn ;)

open source doesn not mean freely usable... are there any stipulations on the use of your code in commercial, freeware, etc...

definitely this reflects a good amount of carefully thought out work... it is very neat and looks good... and i'm sure will be an asset to anyone who includes it in their projects...

Do we need the 2.2 Mb of bitmap images (mentioned in gallery, but not included in download) for this to work ??

(And thanks for this public-spirited gesture)

Booticus(Posted 2005) [#11]
Hey thanks! That was totally cool of you!

Ricky Smith(Posted 2005) [#12]

Uber Lieutenant(Posted 2005) [#13]
Yay, looks like my little Uplink-inspired game has a good GUI to use. It's using XLnt ii at the moment, but it's not 100% what I'm looking for. Good shite, man!

MrCredo(Posted 2005) [#14]
ah... i reserved long time ago a subdomain for this project

if you use my gui - please don't link to blitzbase.de.
Instead this, please link to http://www.miragex.de.vu
in some time i create a mini-website for this (i hope)

MrCredo - (tanks again!) you forgot to add a readme file to the zip that explains the license etc. can it be used in any project, commercial too?
