Am I good to you - still free but loads better!![]() Version 1.00 (build 16) 30.5.06 Music now loops seamlessly. Added the bad luck black cat! Added a game mode option. Default is enhanced (enabled cards, cats etc), basic is just the ball. Missed cards now subtract from your score! Cards now swing slightly as they fall. When the ball hits the ground, any active cards are reset. Added titles to menu pages. Online score transfer now encrypted. Added another background image. http://www.boiledsweets.com/KeePeeUppy |

You could add nice weather effects (rain, snow) with wind. To make it harder and look more fancy. Issues: - Sometimes when the ball "lands" and the window pops up "Click Ball or ESC" I wasn't able to restart a game via click. This only happens sometimes in an unregular pattern. Strange. - The installer leaves files on the hdd when the game is uninstalled. |
| ||
Will deal with if I have time - this is a freebie afterall :-) BTW what files are left - is it just the hs.dat? |
| ||
I know, it's just my struggle for perfection. Ignore me! :o) Files: ![]() |
| ||
Fixed already :-) build 17 coming soon - thanks for the info |
| ||
Seems like a project worth noting as by far amongst the best in freeware, which could be better with what Grisu was mentioning. After all, any outdoor game this day in age is geared as a simulation of real world environment situations anyway. |
| ||
Weather coming soon don't fret! |
| ||
Mmm... Good one. |
| ||
Is "soon" before the start of the world cup? :) |
| ||
Erm obviously not :-( As I've been on holiday and the darn thang started without me! I have updates to KeePeeUppy and Crazy Chilli ready. Will post tomorrow ;-) |
| ||
Another COOL update...![]() Added a ball style option, either Standard or World Cup 2006! (thanks boomboom) Uninstall actually deletes everything correctly. Add 3 more background images. AND STILL FREE! Go grab here - http://www.boiledsweets.com/KeePeeUppy |

lol, hey I recognise that mouse cursor! Did you thank me in the readme? ;-) |
| ||
Grey, well no. I categorised it as a "you know who you are" kinda thang. In fact I did edit your cursor to remove the shadow. But just to keep things in order... THANKS TO GREY FOR THE MOUSE CURSOR. In fact as I recall you said you didn't actually do it but thanks anyhow :-) |
| ||
lol, no I didn't do it but I bought the graphics from the artist so I own the IP. Anyway twas merely a jest. |
| ||
High scores have been reset. I was reluctant to do this but the scoring system has changed so it's only fair. GO GO GO! |
| ||
On the subject of the mouse pointer, dont you think a boot would be more appropriate? LoL |
| ||
Well yes. Do you have one? |
| ||
Seems like a tech demo of using a first-person kicker would be in order here? |
| ||
Why? What are you on about? KeePeeUppy is a free game for the world. It's unlikely to get any more of my attention as I'm close to taking the 2nd exam for my Microsoft Certified Appication Developer in C# (this exam is the 70.320 - developing xml web services and server components with c#.net). |
| ||
I take it there's no way of running this in 800x600, then? It's probably a good idea to add the required graphics mode to the System Requirements list. |
| ||
I decided to fix it at 1024*768. Hey it's a freebie. But yes I'll add that to the requirements list. Ta. |
| ||
Fair enough. If I'd known, it would have saved me the trouble of downloading and installing to find out, is all. :) |
| ||
Done. |
| ||
Blimey, that was quick. :) BTW, I really like your website design. ;) |
