| Hello all, I have developed a little game called Pikgem. You can download it at : http://www.dconcept.info/ftp/pikgem.exe In this 3d arcade game, player takes control of a little guy that collects gems to complete levels. It is based on retro concept with actual improvements. The originality : you can take control of vehicles like rocket or skate to collect gems faster. Another point is the very easy control : you won't waste your time to studying complex controls to get some fun. PikGem is easy to learn and simple to play. The features are : different game worlds from Tropics to Space with various traps,bonuses, monsters,vehicles and of course easy mouse or keyboard control,a learning mode,enhanced 3D graphics and much more... | You should post some screenshots in this thread. This is a nice looking game and it looks "fun". I have downloaded it and will give it a try later today. |

| I won't be able to play it until I get home later today, but I have looked at all of the screenshots. I think the level design is really good. The graphics style really fits the genre and gives a different take on the game. Just going by the shots, it looks fun and is something I want to play. |

| There is a huge framerate decrease for me on Level 5. Also, I'd fix the "+<number> scores!" text. It doesn't sound right. Maybe "points"? |

| Its just saying Pikgem.exe has stopped working... I've tried running as admin, and tried setting compatibility modes. I'm on a laptop |

| No compatibility modes required. It is Pikgem.exe installer or Pikgem.exe game program ? If you can give me your config cpu,ram,video card etc.. it will fine. |

| The installer worked fine... the desktop and program files "Run Pikgem" both cause the "stopped working" message. Does Pikgem have any special requirements that I might not have installed? |

| _Skully : No special requirements,only Directx 8.1 installed. Your graphic card drivers should up to date. If you give me your exact configuration (CPU,GPU,RAM,Os) I could help you a little more. | Quick little bug: I slowed down when I encountered the "speedup shoes" while in the rocket. You may need to do a check to make sure that the player is on foot before degrading their current state from rocket speed to "speedup shoes" speed. Other than that, a great game! |
