Alright! I've decided to release a small particle effect I created with my particle system (called JipParticles) that I've been working on for a while now (probably a little over a month). Very nice! I particularely like the smoke. If you were scaling the fire particles in as opposed to popping them in, you'd get it to look even nicer. If you put a large light blob over the emission, it would boost it even more. Very pretty already, though! Good job! |

First post updated. The flames now start with scale x and y of 0.0 and grow to a max of 32 pixels proportionately. I also added a flame/smoke effect at the start of the fire to give it some umph... and to hide the appearing of the flames. By the way, it was your tagline that made me join the monkeys! ;) I hope it wasn't the threat I stuck on the end of it! :P |

Nice... You should know though, that in Canada Jip means rip off "I got jipped"... its the same as naming a restaurant Sam&Ella's Chicken just letting you know... |

the fire looks awesome. the explosion just doesn't convince me. maybe, something like what Taron did would work better: http://www.blitzmax.com/Community/posts.php?topic=88442 |

You should know though, that in Canada Jip means rip off "I got jipped"... Same in the US too. :) the explosion just doesn't convince me. Well, it's just a simple one. I can make a more elaborate one later maybe? One with flame arcs and a better/more realistic flash or something... I don't know, we'll see. :P |
