 Some of you probably remember that spaceshooter I was working on awhile ago, going under the quaint name of Project Alpha since neither I, nor my graphics designer Mr. Ash could think of a name for it. Well not only have we finally decided upon a name for it, but we've made some rather massive changes to boot(And a great many more are on the way!)  So here is the first Shattered Earth Demo, which includes 1 level, complete with boss, and a few rather spiffy powerups.  Use Arrow Keys to move, Spacebar to shoot all of your guns at once, A,W,D to shoot your guns individually, and Enter to switch between Primary and Secondary guns. | Thanks Xylvan! Me and my graphics designer Mr. Ash are working on improving it even further. He's redoing all of the ship sprites so they look a bit sharper, and have a glowing 'engine core'. Here's an example :)  Today I'm going to get to work on adding more levels and content. Also I'm redoing the story for the fifth time, lol. The original was just your basic "OMG aliens have invaded and only you can stop them!" Now it includes a great deal of backstory as to why the aliens are invading, and an awesome biomechanical virus known as the Reaper Plague that can infect machines and spaceships. Cheers! | Possible loading screen for level 2, Venus :) It needs a little bit of work, but I think the general idea is pretty spiffy.  Also here's the Venus background terrain. The actual image is 1500x1200 something pixels ;)  |
