FYI - You may have to remove the Mario graphics, I added a simple platform test a few years ago using Mario and was asked to remove them.

Sorry, I've had to reject this version as the upload wasn't successful. Please zip and upload the html5 build folder that Monkey produces.

Landon(Posted 2014) [#4]
well thats the thing the html5 version is bigger than 20mb the zip file is 21mb....

i wasn't entirely sure if it was ok or not, i mean it's not commercial, i am not even running ads through it.

Landon(Posted 2014) [#5]
well it seemed to go through with 21mb

simonh(Posted 2014) [#6]
It looks like you uploaded a swf file?

Landon(Posted 2014) [#7]
i thought i just uploaded a html5 zip.. i'll try again.

Landon(Posted 2014) [#8]
Ok i just uploaded html5.zip it was 21mb though.

simonh(Posted 2014) [#9]
Same again, sorry.

Here are the files that were uploaded:

js/
js/swfobject.js
expressInstall.swf
index.html.txt *
MonkeyGameWithPreloader.swf

Landon(Posted 2014) [#10]
hmm must not be uploading the new files because it is over 20mb

oh well

therevills(Posted 2014) [#11]
How are you compiling your game?

You should select the HTML5 target, compile, then zip up the HTML5 build folder...

Landon(Posted 2014) [#12]
I did, i built the html5 target.. zipped the html5 folder it generates and uploaded it, but for whatever reason it never shows up on the admin side.

therevills(Posted 2014) [#13]
Have you tried a clean build?

With the files listed by Simonh are they included in your HTML5 build? If so, why? You don't need a preloader.swf for HTML5...

Landon(Posted 2014) [#14]
i've reuploaded a clean build like 3 different times, my first initial upload was a flash game, i was told to upload an html5 build, which i have done 3 different times, but for some reason on the admin end after i upload, only the flash files i uploaded the first time show up. it's as if my html5 files get rejected...

therevills(Posted 2014) [#15]
Maybe upload the html5 zip to a dropbox account and let Simon/Mark grab them from there?

Landon(Posted 2014) [#16]
ok well here are the files

therevills(Posted 2014) [#17]
I've temporary uploaded it here:

Its pretty good, nice to see Diddy being used :) And it looks like you even used the storyboard feature!!!

Landon(Posted 2014) [#18]
yea i did, although i wanted to do more with the storyboard i just got tired after finally making all the levels ;P

but if you beat it fast enough you get a nice treat at the end.,

Samah(Posted 2014) [#19]
I spose I should finish that storyboard editor then, eh? :)
So far you can load in existing storyboards and select objects. I need to add some stuff for adding keyframes and moving/rotating/scaling objects, then maybe I'll give you all a screenshot.
