Shouldn't the tutorials be updated?

Monkey Forums/Monkey Beginners/Shouldn't the tutorials be updated?

Hi there so when I searched for the documentation to this language, the page had two recommended pdf files for tutorial. Namely:
http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/monkeycoder.co.nz/blitz-wiki/learnmonkey.pdf
http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/monkeycoder.co.nz/blitz-wiki/monkeypixels/monkeypixels_tutorial.pdf

So I looked through this and noticed that the last update for both tutorials were in 2011! I'm really concerned they're not up to date and many features have been added to the money x programming language since then. Is my concern valid or are these tutorials still the best way for beginners to learn?

The best way... how knows. But for sure a good one. Language wise it didn't enhance that much. Of course they could use an update but I doubt it will ever happen.

There are also very good videos I should watch:

Why do you doubt it will happen? That's a downer really. I thought the community here was pretty active. I'm really just nitpicking though, I know I can just read the documentation but I really think an up to date beginner's guide(maybe even an official one) could help ease in people who are learning yet another programming language.

Just my personal opinion, based on what I saw in the time here in the forum and with the product. That's all. Don't get to worried. I usually see things more negative than others. But I woudl bet money on it that you won't see anything official coming in that regard.
