I may have missed this, but are there any gotchas running Monkey on Windows 10 (64 bit)? I mainly compile for Android, iOS, HTML5.. Anything I need to know before I upgrade my trusty win7 laptop to the shiny new OS?

I've got monkey running on Windows 10 Pro without a hitch. You'll love Windows 10.

Yes every one loves Windows 10 and the latest Windows 7 updates. Especially those organizations that have a interest in the data collected through your every day use of Windows.
See MikeHarts link.

Thanks for the views, guys. Didn't want to kick off a religious war over whether people think MS sucks or not, just wanted to ascertain if Monkey + usual SDK's will function under win10, and it sounds like they will.

I'm using Windows 10 with monkey without any issues.

No issues with Windows 10 and Monkey here.

With me the glfw2 window does not center in the screen when run. It is put in the lower right bottom of the screen. But maybe it is becourse I am using a 6 month old installation of monkey. Monkey kept working after windows 10 was installed.

My other laptop that now has windows 10 does center the glfw2 app.

Anyone having problems with W10 users unable to open monkey game builds?

skid(Posted 2015) [#11]
Soap, do you mean GLFW target? I was annoyed OpenAL was still a required install on Win10 to run GLFW apps built with monkey but on an Intel GFX laptop, OpenGL worked sweet with a fresh w10 install which I consider very good news. I'm not sure what kind of failure message GLFW without angle reports to a user when accelerated OpenGL is not available.
