I'm having a crack at the 7-day roguelike challenge, for the first time (I have done a roguelike before, though). http://7drl.org/2014/03/07/the-curse-of-midas/ Hopefully it will turn out decently playable.

Sounds good. What graphic style will you go with? Pixel style?

Fairly basic graphics, I will just use a PD monster tileset initially I think. If it comes out good I may do something more elaborate.

Very cool. I will be following this. I have enjoyed our past email conversations on roguelikes as they are a passion of mine as well.
