I just tried to compile one of the demo apps for android and it failed with:

BUILD FAILED
C:\Program Files (x86)\android\android-sdk\tools\ant\build.xml:1194: The following error occurred while executing this line:
C:\Program Files (x86)\android\android-sdk\tools\ant\build.xml:1208: exec returned: 1

I probably missed something setting up Ant maybe?

Is the emulator running or are you using the phone? Also is AVD running, did you create a Virtual Drive with AVD Manager.exe in the androidSDK folder?

Can you try creating one first and see if that sorts it?

I did indeed start up the android emulator and it worked. Perhaps I should have done a search before posting. :)
