when I open the html file in the folder using chrome it displays correctly for IE it doesn't is this why Mark had to make a min server app ?

He did. Run html5 app from TED or other editor.

The HTML5 applications are designed to run on a server and not standalone HTML files, so yes that is why we have the mini-server app.
