| any iOS wizards out there know if the launch image is compulsory? I have a nice little loading screen image, so can I skip having an app launch image? |

| If you want your app to run full size on iPhone 5 "extra tall", you NEED to include an i5 size launch image so the App knows that it works in that resolution. If you simply can't be bothered, shove a bunch of appropriately sized solid black images in there. |
