| I wrote Arem IM and Arem IM 2.0 a while back, and given some recent
developements, I think it would be a good idea to continue developing
it. AIM has completely abandoned privacy (read their new terms of
service.) AIM and MSN have also been becoming increasingly bogged down.
And anyone who has used either of these networks knows of the rampant
bloating generally referred to as "features." The purpose of Arem IM
3.0 will be simple. Create a pleasant looking, simple text messaging
system that can connect to a default server, or be used as a private
messaging system for an office or group of friends. A mockup of the GUI
 can be found at arem.us/stuff/mockup.jpg.
